The Guam Environmental Protection Agency (Guam EPA) today announced the deadlines for submitting entries in the Earth Week 2008! contests have been extended.
Submissions for the elementary 3D artwork contest will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 2008.
Entries in the middle school banner contest and high school photography contest will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2008.
All contest entries should be delivered to Guam EPA's main office in Tiyan across from the former Department of Revenue and Taxation.
The contests are part of the upcoming celebration for Earth Week 2008!. The theme for this year is "Conserve Our Reef Environment." Earth Week will be celebrated from April 19 to 26. In addition to the artwork contests, there will be the annual fashion show of clothing made from recycled goods. The show will be during the Island Pride Festival on Saturday, April 26, 2008.

Prizes for the contests include art supplies, free shirts and gift certificates. Winners of the photography contest will receive digital cameras. Winners of the artwork contests will also have their entries displayed throughout the month of April.
